Mind you, this is only an opinion, with no 'factual" material to back it up, so to speak.

If I had to pick from someone on that list, and only that list, I would say Clark.

IMO, he is a republican at heart. I see him as a political opprotunist, who believes Bush in trouble, and knows he can't possibly win a republican primary, so he jumps on the democrat band wagon. He has trouble keeping the same story, constantly flip-flops, and can't give a detailed explanation of anything he would do. It seems to me that he is playing everything by ear, trying to figure out who wants to hear what, and then pandors to that. That leads me to believe that his first thoughts fall along the "conservative" line of thinking, but he has to play to the democratic crowds if he wants to win.

C'mon - someone voted for Sharpton? I know that has to be a joke, because he is. He's a bigger racist than the worst redneck!

I'd like to see Clark run things. First in class at West Point - some intelligence would be refreshing. I realize since he's not a politician, he has no chance, but I want him because he's not a politician.

I do not belong to either party, have voted for both Reps & Dems. I was embarrassed by Clinton, but am frightened (for my rights and the fate of the country) and angered by the lies foisted by the Bushes. Yes, Clinton lied, but his sex life is less of an issue to me than an illegal war.

I believe people who vote straight party lines do so because it's easier than having to read about candidates and issues or having to think.

I have been a life long republican, but with Pres Bush making the illegal aliens legal, plus some of the other things I am switching to independent. Voting in the next election will be a vote for the lesser of evils. We need Gerry Ford!
