Lightbulb Chrysler reportedly working with AMG on mid-engined V12 concept

From AutoWeek:

Chrysler reportedly working with AMG on V12 concept

DaimlerChrysler officials aren’t talking about it, but they also aren’t denying that Mercedes’ AMG performance division is working with Chrysler to cook up a V12 mid-engined concept car for January’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The powerplant for the super-Chrysler likely would be derived from the 555-hp, 664 lb-ft twin-turbo V12 in the ’04 Maybach and the Pagani Roadster.

“We always have interesting and exciting vehicles at the Detroit show,” says Chrysler spokesman Ken Levy, who we hear is still trying to pry Chrysler chief operating officer Wolfgang Bernhard away from the Viper-powered Tomahawk motorcycle concept the company premiered at the last Detroit show.
