Default Will it fit in the PT?

YES!

Boy were they surprised when this TV cabinet fit in the back of the PT. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Shoved a 5 hp 2-man go-kart in the back one time to take down to the shop for servicing with my nephew--I did have to remove the roll cage first, but I WAS able to close the hatch.

I've also packed the PT with nearly everything we normally take on a one week camping trip in the Explorer--with a few exceptions--

extra cooler
additional food and clothes
raft and paddles
life jackets
poles and tackle

I probably COULD fit most of that stuff as well, if I had too...hell, if I had roof racks, NO PROB!!

Someone on here posted one time that they fit a new washer or dryer (I forget which) into their PT.
Rear seats removed, of course.

That was me and it was a new washer. It fit in the cruiser (the cranbaby) with the seats in and just tumbled forward-and yes, the hatch closed. Boy were the guys at Lowes SHOCKED!!!!

I love my cruiser(s)!!!

With backseats folded down, got 4 mounted 17" wheels and tires in without any problem.

A guy at our local Pearl Art Store told my wife that she couldn't fit a 60" x 48 " piece of foam core board into her cruiser. Boy did we show him! Folded down the rear seats, put the shelf on the second level, and voila!!

Isn't it hysterically funny? I just laugh and say-"It only LOOKS like a small car"!

Try this SIMPLE test........

Put a 4' x 4' section of PLYWOOD in the back hatch and shut the lid.

It can be done.
