Default What's in your nickname?

A lot of us on here have cryptic or non-name nicknames. For those with the really creative nicknames, where did you come up with your name, and what prompted you to use it here? What's your 'real' first name?

My nickname is actually a street name with the state abreviation at the end. Brayton Drive runs alongside one of the busiest highways in town. I've used it since around 1995. I just happen to like the name. My real name is Shawn.

My ISP setup was that your website (which I wanted to setup, was also your email name. Or to be more accurate, whatever you chose for your email was also your website address. My first choice was DreamMaker, which my wife promptly latched onto. I then chose DreamWorks, but since there is a movie company of the same name, changed the spelling to DreamWerxx, sounds the same.
Like the word dream, and wanted a 10 character name so that my website logo could be done on one line, or 2 at 5 characters each.
That name now flows into my websites name as well.
Real name is Sharman (Sharm)

During a computer class I used the phrase "Too cool!". The instructor picked up on that and the next time I said it, she replied "TC4W". When I asked her what that meant, she explained "Too Cool 4 Words". Later a friend of mine and I were discussing some of the internet names people use. As a joke I signed off Mr. TC4W. It stuck with me.

All my life I've been told I was "cruisin' for a bruisin'. First my mother, then a couple of girlfriends and ex-wives, and now my current wife. So I figured I might just as well own it outright.

Full name is Hiram, I go by Hy; but I answer to a lot of things, depending on who's hollering at me...

My nickname(Babydoll) was given to me by my husband. The only time I hear my real name (Monica) is when I'm in trouble. Apparently, I kinda look like a deer caught in head lights when he does this. Now we call my daughter babygirl. It's also my vanity plates!

I wanted Geekster as my nick, but it seems someone else had the same idea and practically every forum or board i visited, someone had grabbed it. So I came up with Geeksterman. I am definitely a geek and proud of it! And since I run a video game store, it fits. And before you ask, Xbox rules!

And my real name is Sean.
