Default getting a vending machine to work

In the old days, if you had a (mechanical) vending machine that was obstinate, you gave it a wack, then it worked. These newfangled (electronic) vending machines just don't respond to a little physical persuasion, but I found their weak point, power. Just threaten to withold their electricity by unplugging them for 10 or 15 seconds and they straighten right out. Try it, it works.

[1]OK, OK, you are actually reseting the microprocessor by turning off the power and this only works if the microprocessor "hangs", but it's worth a try if you're hungry and the dang snack machine will not accept your money. [/1]

Or.... Just kick the crap out of it. It may not solve the problem, but it sure feels good!

If it is small enough you and a buddy tip it so far forward that the food products just fall out. Trust me it works.
