Default Toyota Thoughts

OK, I realize Toyotas have been one of the best cars in recent years and I don't want to get into trouble again by bashing them. But I've always wondered, where do they come up with the names for their various models? I can't remember any (except Land Cruiser, Tundra , there might be others) that actually mean anything. And I don't think the words are Japanese, either. In that language, all words must end either with a vowel or the letter "n". There is no "L" or even an "L" sound in Japanese; they replace it with an "R". Do they say "Cororra" instead of Corolla? I wonder how they say "Tercel"? I guess these are just made-up words kinda like "Pokemon". Exactly what is a "Camry"?...

When Chevy first intrduced the Nova to Spain and other Spanish speaking countries, it did not sell well. No va in spanish means no go. Who would want to buy a car that won't work--
