The Judges say they will accept that answer! The actual answer is: "They both have the same middle name". I've asked this riddle for years, and this is the first time anyone has ever guessed it. Congratulations, dsnyfan2 !!! I've should have known; there's some pretty smart people here at PTE. I guess that's why they drive PT Cruisers.

True...now. But he was Smokey the Bear for years. I think "the" was dropped in 1978 but couldn't find the date to verify it. I probably have it somewhere at home (Yes, I'm a Smokey fan. My "comfort toy" as a child was a Smokey the Bear...I still have him although he is extremely old and falling apart...)

That's right - it was God Himself. It says He drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden... in a Fury. (for you youngsters out there, once there was a Plymouth Fury. Hey, at least it was a Chrysler Product)
