Larry, stay with it....it will be worth it! My dad quit cold turkey at 70 years old after smoking for more than 50 years. He was up to 3 packs a day of American cigarettes because the Canadian ones weren't strong enough. If he could do it, I believe anybody can! In his case, the damage had been done, and while he life may have been prolonged a little by quitting, YOU on the other hand are still young enough for it to make a big difference. Your heart and lungs will thank you!
Stay Strong! Jackie |

Way to go Larry I use to smoke to and know how hard it can be to give them up. I stoped around 10 or was it 15 years ago. But I tryed to stay away from thing that I liked to have a smoke with and it worked so just find other thing to do and don't think about them bad smokes. Also think when you do start to add up all that cash you can go shpping for the PT mods you want.
You go Larry and good luck again. PT Ted ![]() |

Larry, after 34 years of smoking I quit cold turkey.
I got tired of carrying smokes around (2 packs to work, plus one in the locker and one in my desk. But I have been smoke free 16 years. Here's the advice I give to anyone that would listen. You have gone X amount of days with out a smoke ( in your case 2 days) If you have just ONE PUFF you have to turn the " I have gone 2 days without a smoke" back to ZERO and start all over again, so don't do it Larry. Also an urge only last less than 2 minutes, find something to do during that urge time. YOU CAN DO IT LARRY! ![]() |
