Thumbs up Bullwinkle's Back Home

Hi Everyone,

First, let me thank all of you who posted or sent their good wishes to me. I really appreciate good friends even though I haven't personally met many of you.

Now, the results of my cardiac cath. I had some major blockage which resulted in the placement of 2 stents. There was also some blockage they could not reach (90 degree angle branch) and another at the end of an artery. They'll be medically treating those. The prognosis is excellent. I'm home now and am planning on some major liftstyle changes. In the next month I'll be taking more medication than I've probably had in the last 60 years...combined. But I'm up for it and have made the commitment to improve my eating habits, lose weight, and exercise more.

See you all at CTFII

Thanks again for your support.

I am so glad to hear that everything went well. It is amazing how much harm we do to our bodies by making our bodies adapt to our bad habits.

Glad to see your back home. Hang in there and work real hard on changing your eating habits. It's hard, but you can do it. I did, and my version of the 4 food groups was fat, cholesterol, sugar, and salt and a balanced diet was a donut in each hand!

Larry,
That's great news!! I know that you can do whatever you set your mind to. I've been on Weight Watchers since January and have lost 39 3/4 pounds and I was always on the "see food" diet plan in the past. Listen to the advise your receiving and you'll live to be 100.
