Default Sleeping Beauty is prepped for drag racing 12/1/2007

A new blog entry has been added:

I have sorted out Sleeping Beauty and I am getting more used to the Maddog STS. I am getting some bad knocking with the winter gas and this just started a few weeks ago. So I will dump in some octane booster. Since I keep running out of 1st gear top end, I am taking a suggestion of a friend that races imports and I am going to shifdt at 4500 rpm in first and then puch second. Rain is in the forecast. This could be good or bad. It just depens on the air.

Unhappy Re: Sleeping Beauty is prepped for drag racing 12/1/2007

Well what was supposed to be a chance of showers turned into an all day rain. We really needed it here in SoCal. I think that in the future I might invest in doing one of the dragway rental days. It costs more, but I can also play more.
So, I will wait until next year.

That's why I love the shift light on my Aeroforce Interceptor scan gauge. It's set for 5500 rpm so I'm shifting in the sweet spot and have not hit the rev limiter since I got the Aeroforce.
