It's official - PT Cruiser convertible canceled, PT hardtop spared (for now)

As rumored in the Detroit Free Press yesterday, Chrysler announced on Thursday (November 1, 2007) morning that the PT Cruiser convertible would be canceled.
Also as rumored recently (but flying in the face of rumors over the past several weeks) the PT Cruiser hardtop has been kept in the lineup...at least for now.
