FYI to all of you who might be waiting to see if Chrysler makes any changes to the 2006 PT Cruiser before making a purchase decision:
As of the 2006 model year, Chrysler is discontinuing the 7 year/ 70,000 mile extended powertrain coverage that they have offered for the past few years.
This applies to all Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles.
The reason given was that many consumers did not know that Chrysler even provided the extra coverage (sounds like a failure of marketing to me).
Bad move, Chrysler.
