Question St. Louis area 4 wheel alignment

I just lowered my '02' PT about 2 inches. I understand this will require a camber adjustment, not usually required on stock suspension PT's.

Does anyone know an alignment specialist who is very familiar with the proper techniques. e.g. Replacing the upper strut pinch bolts and shimming the rears.
I live in the St. Louis, MO area, specifically in Valley Park, near I-44 & hwy 141.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey there...

WELCOME!!! Great to see another local here on PTE!!! My sister and her husband live down by you.

Yep, I had my PT lowered back in the fall of 2001 on a set of Eibach Pro Kit Perforance lowering springs.

There are a bunch of great guys up the street from me at the local Bridgeton Car-X location off St. Charles Rock Road (100 yards south of Lindberg Blvd in the same parking lot of Home Depot).

They lowered my PT along with a few other vehs in the past and they know their stuff. As for my PT, after the Eibachs were installed and ever since, the camber adjustment and shims were never required. It is still in perfact alignment without any issues from lowering it for 7 years now.

I'm not sure what lowering springs you are using so it may differ in your situation.

If you go there, ask for the owner Rick Blair and he and his staff can take a look at it for you. They do a lot of custom work for people up this way.

And by the way...

You need to come out and join us locals... We've got a local PT Cruiser club here in St. Louis called the Gateway Cruisers.

You can find us at GatewayCruisers.com

Drop me an email address and I'll get you added to our club activities and events email list.
