Default What do you/should you bring to the DIY car wash?

Subject says it all. What do you bring/what should you bring to the do-it-yourself car wash?

Definitely something to dry the car off with. If it isn't busy, bring everything you would use at home with you (ie. wax & wheel cleaner) . You've 64 cubic feet of cargo space! I suggest going early in the morning before other people get there and it gets hot outside.

I agree. I always take my bucket and the mitt I use to wash with, and all of the things I would use at home. If it isn't busy then I dry the PT in the bay and I have been know to use a shot of quick detailer.

NOTHING!! I would'nt go to a DIY car wash. You use that same dirty brush that everyone else uses and it scratches your paint. It seems like every time I went their I'm always rushing to wash my car cause if the time limit. Plus a waste of money. Just do it at home or take it to a touchless car wash.

I keep a Ca. water blade & a chamois in the car, never use the brush just soap & rinse. If you keep your Cruiser waxed thats enough. I also carry detail spray, a clean towel, a dash duster and lots of dog treats.

yeah, definitely don't use those crappy brushes. Just use the power sprayer.

I go to the DIY's seldom - usually if I'm on the road or it's too cold to do it in my driveway. I use the power sprayer only, wipe with my own mitt, and dry with my own towels. I detail at home.

I go to the DIY in the winter - it's nice to work with warm water rather than the bitter cold water from my well! I bring my own wash mitt and car soap.
