Default Rubber trim on sunroof

A while back, I remember someone posting about a product that was good to use on the rubber trim around the sunroof. When I washed and waxed the GT Sunday, I noticed the trim was icky looking. It was practically dirt colored. What can I put on that to clean it and keep it from drying out?

I'm against Armor All.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. Has UV protection and works great on vinyl and rubber. Can find it at your local Marine or RV supply center if your auto parts store doesn't carry it. Go here and get a free sample to try before you buy: http://www.303products.com/main.php?infopage=protectant

Mine looks that way too, I even tried black shoe dye on it but it still looks washed out, nothing I tried seems to make it black..

I used the Zaino Bros. Z-16 tire dressing with pretty good results. Clean it as good as you can first, then apply the Z-16. I used a mostly worn scotch brite pad with some simple green cleaner.

The best product you can have in your detail bucket is a water based dressing (NOT SOLVENT BASED) I have a superior product on my web site that you can use a ton of ways. Rubber trim/ tires/ wheel wells (an area most people forget about) molded plastic, dash, and engine bay. Check out my web site for info on this product on others I have been selling on PTCruiserLInks forum. www.perfectautofinish.com Gary
