Default Paint Overspray On My Brand New 03' Help!!!!!!!!

I recently discovered I had some paint overspray on my 03' LE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS CAME FROM. I went back to the dealer, no help. There are a few places on the body about the size of a baseball, and some general overspray on the windsheild. I tried acetone on the windsheild, but made a huge mess. I really dont want to take acetone to the body (its inferno red). I tried a 3M rubbing compound on one of the spots, and all it did was scratched the heck out of the paint. I guess i can color sand and buff it, but im trying to avoid it since my knowledge of paint/body work is very limited. IF ANYBODY HAS ANY SUGGESETIONS PLEASE HELP!!!

Yup. Have seen them at Pep Boys and Auto Zone. Might want to give that a try.

I agree with the use of a claybar and it should remove the overspray. It may take a few passes to remove the overspray, so be patient and take your time. If your car has been waxed regularly, overspray removal should be fairly easy. Mother's and Clay Magic are good claybars and should be locally available. I find Meguiar's claybar to be on the soft side and it tends to stick or leave clay residue on your paint even if the surface is well lubricated. There is a more aggressive claybar, a medium grade red claybar: http://www.premiumautocare.com/claymagredgr.html , that is used by body shops. But it is a bit abrasive and you may need to use a swirl mark remover or paint cleanser afterwards to polish out any hazing, scratches, or swirl marks in your paint.

After I got my bumpers and mirrors painted, there was overspray on most of the car including the windows. I used the Mothers brand clay bar and it removed the overspray like magic. After I clayed the paint on the car I then used the clay bar on the windows (using Windex as my lubricant) and it removed the overspray from the windows also.
I just won't use this clay bar ever again except for the windows if needed, since I used Windex as a lubricant. I'll buy a new one for the paint.
