I heard of huge problems with PS2's and cheap Inverters
my buddy has informed to look for the more expensive ones. The Walmart specials don't provide a stable enough power source. Hope this helps

My 700W inverter is from Wal-Mart and works fine for a computer (desktop). Cheap inverters blow more easily though.

I have a 350W . It runs the PS2 just fine. No fancy brand or anything. I got mine at Fry's Electronics for about $40 about a year ago. I did have to be jumped at Cruiserfest 3. My son spent most of the day listening to the stereo & playing PS2 games. It went dead just about 5 pm. So, we got aprox. 6 hours out of the battery between the stereo, interior lights, a plug-in cooler , the DVD &/or the game player. Ooops....kinda embarassing.

Turn off interior lights when it's on display.
