I have mine mounted on the rear hatch just about the windshield washer sprayer. I am using the Terk XM3 antenna. I will take a pic and post it when I get home tonight! I was worried about "messing up the lines" of the PT, but after listening to XM (and loving it) I could really care less what the antenna looks like!!! I'll post some pics later.

This picture shows you how I ran the wire. I looped it down a bit so that if any rain water got in it would just drip down the side...

I would like to note that I mounted it here because when it was on the top, the wire seemed to want to pull each time the rear was opened. This way causes no "stress" on the wire. I hope this helps!

PTPammie,

It is an Antenna Specialists XM/20 (If I remember the part number correctly). It is only 14 millimeters high and comes with (I think) a 14 foot antenna lead. It was long enough to route from the back of the roof to under the driver's seat where I had the XM tuner mounted (with antenna to spare). I routed the antenna lead through the grommet hole that the washer fluid hose uses (near the center of the hatch). You can carefully remove the antenna connectors (green and gold) from the antenna by CAREFULLY removing the white tabs and the connectors should come off. Removing the connectors allows you to route the antenna lead much easier. I used a drop of hot glue on the antenna lead to make the lead conform to the sheet metal so it wouldn't lift or bind when the hatch was moved. It's been 2 months and no antenna movement yet.

BTW, you should be able to pick up the antenna for $45 or less.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Scott
