Default XM Radio Road Trip Review

I finally got to give XM radio a "road trip" test. I have had XM installed for about 3 months now and absolutely love it. I went to the St. Louis cruise in this weekend and would like to give a quick report. I have an Alpine head unit and XM receiver. I also have the Terk XM3 antenna mounted just above the windshield sprayer on the back hatch. It was wonderful listening to 80's music for the entire 6 hour trip and never needing to find the next local station. From Monroe, OH, to St. Louis there was never a drop in the feed and only a 5 second drop on the way home (near Batesville, IN). The sound quality was excellent the whole time and XM is not affected by storms (like the one on Saturday night). I have to say I am 100% pleased with XM so far and would highly recommend it to anyone that asks.

Blucrsr, It was a pleasure to meet you. Don't listen to what MX-5 has to say about my car.....lol. I too have XM and will never go without it again.

at58, It was also a pleasure to finally put a face to the screen name. Thanks for taking the time to chat. As I was leaving I thought to myself "I could have at least offered to help him pack up his sun tent" LOL. I didn't realize you had XM. Where is your antenna?
