2 factors you need to consider. Space & $$$. How much room do you which to lose? & how much $$$ you want to spend.
A 30wx2 amp would power those speakers just fine but to really make them sing, power power would be needed.

You need to say to yourself how much do I want to spend on this... then start for there. As far as brand names, if you stay with the big name companies like Rockford, Alpine, JL, etc. you surly will not go wrong. If still in doubt, Email me & I'll be glad to help you pick something.

Then theres the wiring... form your describition these look like they might be dual voice coil woofers. That also has to be considered.

I'm running to Hx2 Rockford 12's with 2 old school Rockford Punch 40 amps running at 2 ohm. Also running a 1 farad capacitor to help with the headlights Everything else in my car is stock. Love the sound. Just need to get it all hooked up right and you'll be good to go.

I've never seen a sub-box with built in amp rack as awesome as mine.

http://www.mrdove.net/stereo_gallery.htm

It takes up very little space and sounds great.

the amp is actually recessed into the box so that it it flush with the surface of the box.

I think that someone just posted a thread about leaking window seals on the hatch after installing 2 15's subs.

think it was under PT discussions

I don't think you will have enough power to keep up with those subs using only deck power. But congrats on the new ride. & good luck on the install

hey dove!!!
what size sub is that in there? do you happen to know the volume of the box? I would be interested in you building me one if that would be possible. either that or if you could send me some plans of it so i could build my own. i want to use a minimum amount of space, and not pay 400 for the stealth sub. shoot me an email if you can...... djwendall@hotmail.com

thanks
