Question Which Speaker is better??

Hey guys I just won a set of Clarion 5X7s at a local car show. Are they bertter than Pioneer? Which is what I have in the rear colums now.

Both are good. Just depends on what brand you like.

Speakers are a very personal choice. I suggest finding a stereo store in your area that sells both. Then go listen to them. What might sound good to someone else might sound like cr*p to you. (Can I say cr*p? )

Or better yet, since the rears are so easy to change, replace one of them, then listen to the left, then the right, and see which you like better.

clarion, is a higher brand than pioneer,
but, as far as sounding better, its very subjective,
,
and each manufacture makes several difrent price ranges,
,
does it look beefier,
is the sensitivity higher than the ones you have now,
if so it may sound louder at a lower volume,
does it say it can handel more watts,
,
in generalities,
clarion is a better souding speaker and some are used on a comp, level,
pioner is a great brand, but the speakers are rarely seen in wiin comp vehicals,
i have a serious sound system in my car, and i have pioners in the back,, they sound fine,,
but thye are just for fill,

,
add the calirons, and return the pioneres, and get somethign else!!!
you have a 12 inch sub, im sure you dotn hear much from them any way,

heres one i did for my friend,,

, yeah i think you can fit a 6x9 in there, if not its because the rear magnet might be too deep,
then try the frotn door, more bass up front is great for sound quality, and more life like reproduction,

Oh they are hugh no way I could get them in. So I mounted them to rear shelf and put in two speaker wire cups in the side panels on each side I taped right off the existing 5X7s. I can also quickly disconnect for removal now. The sound is incredable. I was very suprised at how much it changed the whole sound quality. Now I need some kick panels in the front.
