Remove the center dash, remove the stock radio. You may need an adapter cable to use your stock wiring and may need to come up with some way of securing the new unit inside the dash. But yes it can be that easy.

you probably need a harness adapter to wire the realys to the head unit. Otherwise, just the mounting hardware.

Just go to best buy, get a wiring harness, antenna adapter and the plastic frame and youre good to go...expect to spend another $75

if you're ordering from crutchfield then it should come with the wiring harness. thats the good thing about crutchfield.
its really not hard to change out the head unit... the only problem i had with the new head unit is with my racing suspension, all the bumps in the road make the deck bounce in the plastic frame but i put some double sided 3m tape between the deck and the plastic frame and it fixed that. |
