I just wanted that BOOM type BASS that shakes the ground!! I thought nothing would rattle so much since it being a hatchback and you can feel it more since the subs are right behind the rear seats instead of in a trunk.

Ive gto 2 12s in mine and have the bass at -3 right now
And im 20 Im not into getting tickets and showing off expensive equiptment in my car to total strangers. This is temporary until I can afford a fiberglass kickpanel design and hide some 10s somewheres. I like my trunk
I have "premium" speakers and they sound okay. Will prolly upgrade those too and add tweeters up near teh top of the pillars.

I have two 10" Kicker L7's. Sound good...no rattling hatch for me...may just depend on your box. I replaced the head unit as well...sounds better.

I'm not sure where you would dynomat the trunk, unless you wanted to throw a sheet under the rear tray
Door aps I can see, but for the sub in back, theres no where to put it. I have no vibration unless I crank the bass up to ear bleeding level. At that level I'm liable to have a spontaneous bowel movement before the car rattles.
As for rear pillar speakers, the dynomat lines the inner shell of the carbehind the speaker.

I never had a problem with the hatch rattling. However I did have a problem the license plate ratling all I did was take of the plastic frame, then put some stuff like dynomate and I torqed it down tight. I have 3 10's the stock headunit is OK but if I had my choice or the mony for a new unite you better beleave that I would have a diffrent one in. Oh does anyone have the problem with setting of car alarms with their music? how about rattling snicker bars off the shelves at Circle K? lol I learned from that PPL will hate you lol sorry I love that story (the circle k one)

How about some free air subs under the rear seats or bass shakers?
