My mistake, you're talking about hub caps & I meant the center hub (hole). These wheels have to be balanced by centering the lug holes, not the hub.. or something...

To clean up any confusion for people reading this thread later.
![]() Hub Centric - means the wheels weight sits on the cars wheelhub. There are rings for aftermarket wheels that you place in the backside center hole of the wheel to fill in any gap from the wheel to your cars hub. So the rolling weight is NOT on the lugnuts but the cars wheel hub. Chuckles that is strange yours are 10 hole mine are 5 hole smoothies. I was about to offer you one of my caps in trade for one of yours to see if mine fit your PT if you didn't get one to fit. Since if coker is now using WheelVintiques smoothies I know my caps should fit your 5 hole wheel. Even the replacement wheel I got last Jan, my old cap snapped right in.

I've never used an insert before. Do I need one? Coker was quite surprised by the cap not fitting, too. I would have expected their computer to have a note in it about this. I got the impression this was the first time this happened. When did you buy your 5-hole wheels? I think I got my 10-holers in late 2001. |

I don't use hub centric rings on my car with the smoothies, they fit up just fine. Wheel Vintiques is where my smoothies came from. In 04. But I have to hub centric rings on my GT the wheels require it for the PT hubs.
