Looks great!

I've been thinking about painting some of my engine parts with Bright Silver to match the car...

I painted those same pieces long ago, great feeling every time you look at it, I did that. Good job on the vanity cover I clearly remember the pain in repaint the dohc back in black. I will say you'll have to keep touching up the door sills. No matter how much you try they get nicked. Great job.

Yep, the door sills will be your thorn in your side. But they look great. At least YOU can fix yours. Mine are polished etched stainless & damn but they are all scratched up & won't polish up nice anymore.

As for the engine caps...I bought mine piece by piece (chrome & billet) but in the meantime I painted the ones I didn't have to match (white in your case). It worked out OK. Or, Yellow loomz ties the yellow into the engine bay, if you want to go that route. Or, do them red to pull togerther the battery top & the intake piece that's red. Just ideas...

I just repainted my door exhausters this weekend. It's one of my favorite DIYs. Lots of people overlook this mod! I want the chrome version, but the $$...could go to better things (like you said).
