I haven't seen any aftermarkets that will let you keep the power. But, power or no, I love mine! I have one off SS plates with chopper mirrors (spiderwebs, currently).

I was thinking about removing my stock mirrors competely. Then using a set of Clip-on peep mirrors on the doors mounted at about the top of the doors about level with the windshield. Would need to make some plates to cover where the stock mirrors were mounted. What does everyone think. Wonder if Pteaser would sell me just the plates thier mirror are mounted on?

Just an idea, Bob

I hear the peeps don't give you enough visibilty all by themselves. PTeazer might do the bases alone for you, but then you'll have holes to fill. Or you could find a metal shop to make a replacement plate (like mine)..or even make your own out of Plexiglass? Just throwing thoughts around...not sure it'd work.

I bought mine pre-made (one -offs) on ebay.

Talking Re: side mirrors

It might be a great mod to do, but the lack of sight is a pain forever. I have small side mirrors on Space 2. I don't recommend it.

feel free to see at MySpace.com - Marvin - 34 - Male - Space Command, Florida - www.myspace.com/spacemodulatorpt

That's true. It does increase your blind spots & with daily driving can be a pain. I got used to it pretty quickly, though. Talk about lowered visibility...just imagine my PT with the tiny mirrors , a Willpak & a visor!!
I drive , change lanes & reverse looking like a "bobble head".

Does anyone have a set of stock mirrors that they dont want. Even damaged would be good. I just want to play around with them. Also I have a idea on some new door lock pins. I think you guys and gals might like it. Upcoming.

this site is great and so is the people on it.

Thanks, Bob
