Default I need lighting HELP!!!!!

Here is my problem, any ireas or advice would be great!

I took my 02 DC1 convertible conversion to have LED undercar tubes put on, and my installer says that due to the reinforcing required by the conversion, there is no place to mount the tubes where they will not get broken down the road. Is there any other type of lighting besides LED or neon for undercar use?
Also, has anyone used the lighting seat covers and/or floor mats? How do you like them? How difficult to install?

Thanks everyone!

the only thing i can think of is to try and use smaller tubes(shorter and thinner) but if your guy says it cant be done maybe it would be best to heed his advice.

I am not an expert but I have a sugestion.
Try this link californeon.com they sell el tape.
Read a review comparing different companies who make this product they said the major difference is the californeon is much brighter, less inexpensive (because you can buy it dirrect from the company) Only drawback is power souurce humms a little. They also can do widder widths. If you really can't do anything with tubes this would be an idea. Don't show using as underbody's on this site but have seen it on other sites.
Have the floor mats VERY BRIGHT bought the apc ones.
Everywhere I saw on the web the were $79 or more went to a Advance Auto store there regular price was $ 40 got mine on sale for $25. Don't know if they have this chain store by you but thought I'ld throw out that name for you to check.

As far as the lights haven't had personal experience with californeon but I was doing alot of research on el tape for a project I am working on & the info I read said they were the brightest. Another idea would be to use rope lights. I am by no means an expert just trying to share info I have run across. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge can give you a better idea.

No go out there & light up that Dream Cruiser !!!

LMAO, how about just drilling holes in the floor and putting lights inside on the floor?

If you have to have them you can get some custom made. www.radiantz.com is who makes all my custom stuff at work. Just let them know the application, color, and size. They can do just about anything you could need. IT may be a bit more expensive but it will be a custom fir to your car, not a 'One Size' deal

Look under "Flexable arrays" then under "NEONS(neon replacemant using LEDs)"

Here is a example on a motorcycle....
