Default Special color paint for brake calipers?

Has anyone found a supplier for brake caliper paint that can do a special order for a color other than the ones that are widely available from the major manufacturers (GP2, etc.)?

I have an almond color PT with copper color flames, so I was trying to find copper colored caliper paint. Or possibly an almond or burgundy. I checked all auto paint suppliers in my area. One supplier that provides paint for many local race cars thought they could do it, but decided they couldn't. They said their paint was an enamal, & even mixed with a hardiner it probably wouldn't last. My PT is an un-garaged, daily driver in all weather, so the paint has to be durable.

So I'm back to square one. My wife doesn't like red. I could do silver or black, but that's pretty boring. The other colors don't really go with almond & copper.

Thanks, John

I have never seen copper or almond but think silver would play nice with your colors

John...You might want to go to the local Auto Parts stores and check out their heat resistant, high temp engine paint. They have quite a variety of colors to choose from. I used that type of paint on mine and it has been on for about 18 months with no problems. The brake caliber paint is way over priced in my mind. Just use brake cleaner to clean the dirt and grease off prior to painting. Worth a try for the cost of a can of spray paint, if you don't feel it is holding up to your expectations just redo them with the high end paint if you wish. I put on about 3 or 4 thin coats on mine and they still look pretty good. Good Luck

Thanks MIMIMOTOMike. Gold was a color I was considering. In fact I had previously contacted the manufacturers to ask about it. On ebay they're selling it as "Beige", instead of gold. But the manufacturer told me it is definately gold, not beige. By the pictures I've seen it looks kind of beige or almond. So I'm not sure if the gold color might clash with my almond PT or not.
