I am thinking incredibly hard about those, particularly the black set for the same reason - to paint. Just need some paint skills - and paint - wish Duplicolor made Steel Blue in large cans. those little OEM cans add up way too fast.

Did you take 'em apart to paint or did you mask off the lenses? If you took 'em apart, how difficult was it?

I am going to have to agree with Mike. It just isn't a look I care for.

Well, I think they look awesome. I was thinking about those or the PTeazer retro tear drops. I need something that is street legal though since its an every day driver. Are yours street legal?

From what I've seen and read, these lights, unlike Gen I and II have all of the Federal approvals. That's one reason that I have been considering them for my ride. I haven't had a chance to see any in person, however.

I sure hope they are legal. I did change the white bulb for the turn signals to a yellow one so Mr. Cop wouldn't have a problem.

Monkeyboy, I get paint from www.levineautoparts in larger cans than Mopar sells for about the same price. Didn't take the lights apart, just spent better part of an afternoon taping them off.

I know these aren't for everyone and it doesn't bother me if someone doesn't like them. Everyone has their own taste. Wife doesn't like them either so I'm keeping them just to annoy her.
