Default GT chrome battery cover

Does anyone know where I can get a chrome battery cover for a GT? I can find all kinds for the NA but none for the Turbo.

I had the same problem. The problem is the mounting bracket that holds down the battery is bowed/arched on top. Go to an auto store and buy a new flat bracket like the ones on the N/A Cruisers and you shouldn't have a problem.

This is what I have been told. I haven't done this yet myself but it makes since. I bought a cover from gotmypt but haven't done this yet. Maybe this weekend I will do a "dry" run. Take the bracket off and install the cover. It should work. I'll let you know.
