Pics of my hand painted sills

Those look great! Where did you find your door sills and what type of paint did you use? My kids climb onto the sill to get in and out of the car and I'd like to 1) protect the paint that's there and 2) if I could do something like this, protect it, too.

I suppose the obvious answer is to not let the kids ride in the car but my kids love the PT nearly as much as I do asking to ride in my car when we go anywhere together. And, since they're not old enough to be embarrassed to be seen with me...
