Arrow Show me your Neons in the Grill

I am going to be installing neons in my grill and would love to get some ideas on how yours look and your set up. Please post your neon pictures and any helpful hints on the install, including the sizes used. I really want to be glowing this year!

I got em!!! I love em.. Do a search for posts from PTCRUZR aka jerry I basically copied his install.. PTCruiser363 has em too..

I am running a 4 tube set-up 2 verticle one each side of the grill one facing up off the metal bar infront of the radiator and one facing down(that one just decided to die when I got my digital camera) but the bottom tube will give that glow down to the bottom of the grill and on the ground..

In this pic you can see the verticle tubes I have them zip tied in at the bottom but the grill holds the top of the tube in snug..

I went with posi-lock connectors, since I could not solder them together.. they hold tight since I did have problems with the connections vibrating apart with the crimp and tape connections.. There is a metal tape by 3M you can get and put around the tubes to help make the light relfect brighter..

shoot me a PM I will answer any question I can..

Do you ever get pulled over for that red/white/blue neon tube?

I have 2 ultra bright 4" tubes in my upper grille and one in my lower grille. I purchased them at pepboys for 20.00 each, however they are water-proof and unseen when looking at the car! The are very very bright....

Sorry do not have a good pic to show

No, I don't drive with them on. I got pulled over once with the washer lights blinking so I don't want to take any more chances.

The neon installed very easily.

Review 363's pic, he has two neons mounted along the cross beam. Instead of two smaller ones, I used one 15 inch neon ziptied to the cross beam. It was a tight fit but I haven't had any problems with it.
