You are right You do feel a lot of pride when you do a mod to your Cruiser that no one else helped you on

You can also feel like crap when you do a mod that no one else helped you on when you completely mess it up like I probably would

Can I ask Monochrome a dumb question? Obviously your car looks like somebody put it together wrong (kidding). On a right hand drive are the pedals reversed also using your left foot for the gas? I have always wondered.

wow I spent this week getting the Air bag cover painted the center consle and the the speedo cover painted. Picking it up tomorrow .We 2 toned it also did the Floor console in black. Will post pics when its put together. the center bezel was a pain because after we painted it found out there is a rubber coating that has to be removed. It bublled and had to do it all over again .Only took a couple of hours to get it right . Man it was alot of work. But it is done now just have to clear coat it.And then put it back together .

I was stationed in England for three years, and owned numerous english cars. The gas pedal, brake and clutch are all in the same order from left to right as American cars, the only thing that changes is the turn signal arm is on the other side.

Thanks Alini, mystery solved. Now we just have to work on why they put the rest of the car together wrong...

Haha, I always wondered about the pedals, too! I never thought to ask the several people I know who were stationed there, duh.

Same here, only for a bit longer. It was a challenge at first to drive a manual "left-handed" but I got the knack of it.

Ok I'll go ahead and try it myself when I find another center dash piece. Hopefully there is one at the junk yard in good shape.
