Default exterior mirrors

Do the non-folding mirrors and folding mirrors mount and wire(defrost) the same?

I thought the heat mirrors were only on 2001 and 2002's I don't believe the newer ones have the heated mirrors and yes on the 2002' they plug into the rear window defroster circuit

The 2001 and 2002 with folding mirrors were heated

The later models did not offer heated mirrors On 2002 they plug into the rear window defroster circuit

I was thinking it would be easier to paint the non-folding mirrors. So I was thinking that if someone with the those mirors had the heat we could trade.

Painting the folding mirrors is not a problem. Had mine done over 2 years now and no problems at all.
