Unhappy automatic shift bezel

Can you take off the automatic shift bezel without removing the center floor console? My GF spilled coffee this morning and I want to give it a good cleaning. It has the custom kruzer shift conversion on it if that matters.

Thanks,
Rich

Sorry , but you will have to remove the console. It's a easy job.

Its very easy if you remove passenger seat 1st. make sure you pull emergency brake ALL the way up. once its out, its easy to clean & easy to mod...

Yep what he said. I fyou remove the passenger seat then its easier to twist out. Afetr your done, double, triple check your brakes. they tend to stick. Or that what mine did. I just drove around the block a couple times pulling the lever hard to try & release it.

It works fine now.

IWhat do you mean remove the passenger seat. All you have to do is move the drivers and passenger seat all the way back then recline both seats.
