Still can't get the pictures shrunk down enough so they still look good. Gonna have to try & take new pix. w/ a different camera that isn't as nice

I was qouted $600 last year for bumpers, mirrors & pillars; & $1500 for flames. But since I was getting other body work done at the same time plus times are slow for him right now. I got a great deal!

I got:
body work
bumpers
mirrors
dash pieces
wheel center caps
front holes in bumper filled
front licence plate relocated (I supplied bracket)
custom flames

for $2600 w/ insurance picking up about 1/2 of body work.
Out of pocket $2200
body work came to just under $1000 (insurance worked him down from original quote)
So all the custom painting & extra work for about $1700.

I thought it was a awesome deal cause I went back to pick up car thinking it would run about $3500 for all the extra work that was not on the original quote.

If you are in the Minnesota area & want a awesome body shop & custom painter Go see "Shorty" at TC Paint in St.Paul. He truly is the best.

I'm planning to send him some more parts to paint in a week or so.

Oh BTW He only needed car for 3 1/2 days!!! He got right on it!!!!

I finally got a pictur posted. But I had to do it over at www.PTCruiserWorld.com. Over there they will take a full size picture & do compression for you.
Go to the painting forum, & click on my avatar. It should come up. Or go to the Gallery section.
I tried downlaoding some compression software last night, it seemed to work fine till I got a please pay _ _ _ _ message. My search was for Freeware.... Arrrrggghhhh!!!!

& with a crappy dialup connection & 20 minutes waiting for the download to finish (hoping AOL doesn't drop me).

Anyway, at least I have 1 pic up for you all to see.

still would not open picture you tried to post. That was the problem I had earlier. Anybody able to convert the picture for me, I can email them. Its about 700k for each pix.
