My opinion. The E&G is a better grille and way easier to install

I TRIED TWO DIFFERENT STULL "TURBO GRILLS" ON THE DC1, WHICH ARE SUPPOSE TO FIT. THE BOTTOM FIT BUT THE BOLT HOLES ON THE TOP WERE AT LEAST 1/2 INCH OFF. I WENT WITH E&G, IT FIT PERFECTLY. STULL'S QUALITY HAS GONE IN THE TOILET, IN THE LAST YEAR. MY .02$

I did a search & read all threads on the Stull grille, still its tempting. The one group buyer received his & installed it yesterday with no problem. At this price its very tempting, still have a couple days to think about it.

I bought one last year and would have had to bend it to make it fit. Sent it back

Why do you think they have gone froim $ 600 down to $200.

Piss poor quality They went from best to worst.

Default bought & installed

Well I rolled the dice and ordered the Stull grille. Received it in four days & finally had time to install it today. Very good first impression after unpacking and inspection, nice quality look and feel. I was concerned it would look too black as the thin vertical front of the bars are highly polished but the wide horizontal portion is black. The instructions were very minimal and a couple tips such as install the lower piece before the upper would have been helpful (very tight quarters in front of the radiator). I allso need to invest in a magnetic or some type of tool retreival device as I kept dropping nuts and wrenches. I spent more time fishing out parts than actually installing the grille. It's not easy having ten thumbs. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and the finished look on my silver Cruiser with chrome bumpers. Only three of us ordered so we will pay the $229 + $16 shipping. No digital camera, no computer, sorry, no pictures. PS Thanks Andy Kay or starting this thread.

wow - wish I'd have waited to get mine.

Mine still isn't quite lined up properly. Would've been nice for them to include the screws without washers rather than requiring cutting of the OEM washers (still haven't gotten anything that can cut them).

Highly recommend spray painting behind the grille area (radiator etc) as it greatly enhances the look.

not so - for lighter colored PTs, there's a template to overlay on the lower grille so you can paint it black. That keeps the OEM lower grille from showing through. Alternatively, many people use some sort of black automotive tape to accomplish the same end result.

Appreciate the link - they've got other items listed now. Will have to keep an eye on them for other great deals.

Thanks for posting this thread. I was seriosly concidering the grill but concerned about the fit on my Dream Cruiser.
But I will keep checking for other group buys I think it's a great idea just need a product that we can be sure fits all PT's like say afuel door or the spears.

If you know anyone with an E&G or Stull billet grille see if they're willing to let you try it on. For the upper grille it's just four bolts.

The lower grille is more trouble and a quick swap isn't easy. For the Stull there's two posts that connect to the grille. Not a big problem for two people but putting it on by myself was tricky with my butter fingers.
