Default Gauge Plexi-glass/ plastic Covers

Unfortunately, the plexi/ or plastic cover over my gauges have become a bit scratched and swirled. Does anyone know of any manufacturer or retailer that sells replacement covers? I'd love to have actual glass, which won't easily scratch, but I'll take what I can get.

Thanks.

Have you tried Novus yet? http://www.novuspolish.com/
Novus is pretty popular, especially with the motorcycle crowd.
Renovo, http://members.aol.com/RenovoUSA/polish.html ,
Meguiar's # 10 and 17, Mother's Plastic Polish, 3M Plastic Polish are also available for you to try before replacing your plastic gauge cover.

Thanks Sci-Fi! That product looks awesome! I'm wondering if I could use it on my painted plastic accents inside the car such as the IP gauge housing and the passenger air-bag cover?

I'm looking forward to getting that to fix my PT and my wife's car, too.

Default Re: Gauge Plexi-glass/ plastic Covers

Sci-Fi - Thanks for the tip about the Novus polish - they're stuff works great!

I found someone on Ebay selling the 8 oz. bottles (#1, #2 & #3) for quite a bit less than the Novus polish web site - they arrived and worked perfectly for clearing up the scratches on the dash gauges. They also worked well for polishing the headlights, driving lights and tails. I used them on the plastic color-coordinated accents on the dash and all the micro-scratches from wiping down the interior of the car were removed -- it even took out the micro scratches on the on the stereo display.

The #1 polish indicates it will prevent dust build up and it lives up to the claim. I used polish #3 on a fairly deep scratch put into my airbag cover when trying to re-install the dash top without taking off the A-pillars (foolish, I know) and it minimized the sratch and it's not as apparent. This step was followed (per their instructions) with polish #2 and then #1.

I also used the #1 polish to shine up the black pillars on the exterior of the car - they shine better now than when I bought the car.
