Default License plate mount

My car is coming back from the shop with a new Mirage fascia up front sans the license plate mount. RI requires front plates, and I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how i might mount the plate to the lower grill safely. I bought the Kruiser bracket and was figuring on how i might use this to mount the bracket.
Suggestions?

That's a hard one. I don't think that I've seen anyone mount a license plate on a Mirage front end. I guess you could use zip ties to attach it to the lower grille, but I think the plate will block too much air.

I saw a camaro with a billet grille and he put his license plate behind his billet grille with zip ties. You most likely wont be able to mount the plate behind, but you could attach it to the lower billet grille with zip ties.

Like I do right now, front window... It will sit pretty nice on the dash.. In my PT there is just enough room to tuck it between the windshield and the dash itself to prop it up.. and no it has not scratched anything... But I use a dash cover too... It will work until I get off my butt and get a Kustom Kruzr Bracket... I have a Stock Front Facia...

And if you decide to sell the Kruzr Bracket shoot me an e-mail....

Check out Bob's site. I think he is using the same front end and mounted the front plate (also added an air cylinder to tilt the plate and deflect more air into the intercooler under boost).

Send us pics of the finished product.

I have mine covering the lower fascia, I tow my trailer, sometimes have the whole fam damliy with me, the temp guage does NOT move. Cooling has alot to do with low-pressure areas and down-drafts as much as flo-through, my advice is that the lower fascia is fine to be covered on the PT, not so on the GT due to the inter-cooler.

I have my lower opening covered with the OEM licence bracket- using 2 /12, or 3" bolts, with nuts, and some washers as spacers, the bolt fits through the bracket, through a slat in the lower grill, add a washer or 2, and attach the bolt with lock washer (os use a teflon nut). Of course, THIS is easy to do when the fascia is OFF the PT which is what you would have to do anyways.

Love that set-up I must say..

Pic of my lower holder...

The Mirage grill is 2x as wide as the stock lower opening (grill), but doesn't have the added intakes next to the foglamps.
