Bruce, does the split occur BEFORE the muffler or is it a special muffler that has a rear and side exit? If the split is before the muffler do you have a resonator on the passenger side exhaust or just let it rip?
Reason I'm so curious is because I have a single exhaust that looks identical to your drivers side. Its a V-Force muffler with a 2 1/2 inch diameter chrome pipe welded on. Would really like to have duals for the looks but can't figure out how to "tie-in" to the existing exhaust. Any tips will be appreciated!
It has in the front (towards front of car) an inlet and outlet side by side, and in the back (where tip is) one outlet... He cut the DC muffler off at the inlet and welded the new one there... Then measured and bent from the front outlet straight, then bent the pipe in front of the axle, then bent to come out at the rear... It is a "camaro" type muffler that is a little shorter than the stock DC muffler...

Anything else, let me know...
