She's nuts. The 2.4 is NOT a Mistu motor, nope, zero, nada, nothing Mitsu about it. The PT's 2.4 is based on the Chrysler 2.0 motor.

It has nothing to with with Mitsu or the 2.4 'world engine' in the Caliber, et al (which is not a "Hyundai engine", it was co developed by Chrysler/Hyundai/Mitsu).
