I received a request from Mary Ruth ( RagLady) to post this here on PTE. Nancy (Wishin4PT) has really had a time of it lately, and some prayers and support sent her way would be appreciated!



This is from our dear friend, Nancy Maners, who you remember lost her husband, Wendell suddendly in January. Then her father died last week. Please read this. She needs all our prayers and support.

This is just not my year. You know my dad died last week. Well, today, Mom (who has Alzheimer's) and I were on the way home from the grocery and drug stores and had a head on collision. The guy hit another car head on first and then spun around and hit us head on. Fortunately we were not injured although I did have mom transported by ambulance and checked out since she had a broken neck three years ago. The people in the first vehicle that was hit were transported to UAB in critical condition.

I don't know how bad the PT is. I know I will need a new hood, bumper, lights, and who knows what underneath the hood, although it is still drivable. I think it was probably not as bad as it could have been because I had seen him cross to the wrong side of the road and had come to a complete stop.

Please pray that this streak of bad luck will end.
