It is done with the brakes. Trac controol does not work with limited slip because both are wheels turning ( suposidly ) equaly. So if they are both turning the trac controol has nothing to do. But with a open dif... the wheel that is spining will have the brake applied to the point the other wheel will get the power. You can add a limited slip to a truck with trac controol. Its just that the trac will not have anything to do, as the sensors will allways read the same wheel speed.
