The way you can tell the plastic tires from the rubber ones, I think, is that the plastic tires are completely smooth, whereas the rubber ones, if you look carefully have treads on them. I have only found one , a black flames pt, with rubber tires. Some targets have tons of these with the plastic tires. Hope you all find some. I haven't seen them at any other stores yet.
