I bought some JL Audio XR650-CSi's. They have a 6.5" woofer for the door and a directional dome tweeter for the dash. The windshield actually does an amazing job at directing the sound. The sound level is right at head level where it should be without doing any tweeking or using my head unit's "soundstage organizer", which I had to use with my stock components.
