Still fumbling around but on the brink of rear speakers must likely 2 way. I have looked 33 times in my thread here and SOMEONE SoMeWhErE posted that the (front) door and dash speakers are driven by one OEM radio output, and the B pillar (C pillar?) by the other. Hence the rears are the more or less bass? [but if so if one has the sub .... ?]
Have not extensively searched the DIY area but seems like there is a need for 'some kind' of definative outline of the audio characteristics of the various PT years???? Including precautions, warnings, hints, etc?
And no one has even suggested adding speakers to the rear doors or surface mtd tweeters at the rear speakers???
Reason being there are many threads on this yet no culling of data into one lump....
