I finally found the parts I needed to compete my new custom air intake mod. I decided to wrap the whole airbox and the air snorkel with an engine blanket to try to reduce the heat. I taped it in place with double sided tape to hold it to the box and aluminum foil tape for the seams. Here are some pics...

Granted, Its not pretty, but it may work.

Looks like a lot of work to keep the hot air that`s entering the box! Now if you had a cool air intake pick up out side the engine compartment you might be on to something the box would keep the abient air cool to the T/B, Just a thought!
