I can't answer about water intrusion. I've never driven mine in a rainstorm. I do not know if water gets in there or not. You'll have to ask a daily driven PT owner to look.

BTW, my horn is mounted in the center grille.

I`ve driven in rain storms in St Louis With no water getting in the tube.As of this date the mod has been up dated to increase the air flow & has proven to work with air temp at the T/B at ambient temp.
