I own a 2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition with the dual CD Player/Cassette Player and I wish to replace it with the Navigation Radio (RB1) Chrysler P/N 82206406. I was told that it can be done because the dash opening is the same as the 2003 - 2004 PT Cruiser models. I was also told that I would need a power cord adapter Chrysler P/N 82207541 to convert the 2/7 pin connectors to a 1/24 connector. This information was provided to me by a dealer. However, I would like to verify this information with Chrysler's Tech Support. I would also like to obtain the installation instructions for the (RB1) unit. Presently there is no Chrysler Tech Support phone number or E-mail address. Where should a person go? Even the dealer doesn't know where to go. I can't spend any money on this product(s) unless I get support! Has anyone done this?.........Any ideas?
