does it look beefier,
is the sensitivity higher than the ones you have now,
if so it may sound louder at a lower volume,
does it say it can handel more watts,

in generalities,
clarion is a better souding speaker and some are used on a comp, level,
pioner is a great brand, but the speakers are rarely seen in wiin comp vehicals,
i have a serious sound system in my car, and i have pioners in the back,, they sound fine,,
but thye are just for fill,

,
add the calirons, and return the pioneres, and get somethign else!!!
you have a 12 inch sub, im sure you dotn hear much from them any way,

Yea the Clarions are bigger and do have a higher wattage like 40 more watts also they are 6X9s which I do believe you can fit in that rear plllar.
